I have been surrounded by decorating and sewing my whole life. I watched my mother create custom draperies and do clothing alterations at our in-home workroom. When I was old enough I learned to sew (on an industrial sewing machine!) and made doll clothes and craft projects out of scraps of drapery fabric.
The love of creating beautiful things with fabric led to a career of fabricating window coverings, teaching and sharing with others who aspire to create beautiful homes for themselves or as a career. Creating home décor is certainly about decorating, but it’s also about the simple things that make life special; one elegant flower in a vase, party lights over the patio, sharing a favorite recipe and time together with the ones you love.
